شهــر جهانــی یزد به عنوان اولیــن شهر خشتی دنیا و دومیــن شهر تاریخی جهــان دارای ویــژگی های منحصــر به فــردی از لحــاظ معماری سنتی است و از جمله مناطقی می باشد که از لحاظ پرداخت به هنر های سنتی از جمله نساجی و سفالگری، گذشته پر افتخاری دارد ولی یکی دیگر از دلایل شهرت یزد،زیورآلات سنتی آن است.

The global city of Yazd, recognized as the world’s first adobe city and the second most historic city in the world, boasts unique features in traditional architecture. It is also renowned for its rich history in traditional arts such as textiles and pottery. However, another significant reason for Yazd’s fame is its traditional jewelry.
بازار طلای یزد
بازار زرگری: قدمت این بازار به حدود ۲۰۰ سال پیش باز می گردد و اگر مغازه ها در این‌راسته به حالت طاقچه مانند بوده که بعدها شکل ظاهری آنها تغییر یافته است. در این بازار بیش از ۵۰ باب مغازه وجود دارد که اکثرا در زمینه ساخت و فروش زیورآلات طلا مشغول هستند. بازار خان: ساخت این بازار به دوران‌ناصرالدین شاه قاجار باز می گردد و از عریض‌ترین و طویل ترین بازارهای یزد به حساب می آید و با احتساب بازار شرقی نزدیک به ۱۵۰ باب مغازه وجود دارد که اغلب در صنعت زیورآلات طلا مشغول به فعالیت هستند. ◦ پاساژ کویتیها، بازار افشار، بازار مرکزی (صدری) و مجموعه آزادشهر از دیگر بازارهای فعال در حوزه زیورآلات می باشند.

1. Bazar-e Zargari (Goldsmiths’ Bazaar): With a history of nearly 200 years, this bazaar is one of Yazd’s oldest jewelry hubs. Originally, the shops had alcove-like structures, but their appearance has evolved over time. Today, more than 50 shops operate here, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and sale of gold jewelry. 2. Bazar-e Khan (Khan Bazaar): Dating back to the reign of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, this is one of Yazd’s widest and longest bazaars. Including the eastern section, it houses nearly 150 shops, most of which specialize in gold jewelry craftsmanship and trade. 3. زیورآلات سنتی یزد، با پیشینه‌ای غنی و الهام‌گرفته از فرهنگ، هنر و باورهای مردم این منطقه، یکی از جلوه‌های شاخص صنایع‌دستی ایران محسوب می‌شود. این هنر که نسل‌به‌نسل توسط اساتید چیره‌دست یزدی منتقل شده، نه‌تنها بیانگر ذوق و مهارت صنعتگران این دیار است، بلکه هویت فرهنگی و تاریخی یزد را نیز در خود جای داده است.
با توجه به ارزش‌های هنری، فرهنگی و اقتصادی این زیورآلات و ضرورت حفظ و ترویج آن در سطح بین‌المللی، دبیرخانه پیگیری جهانی شدن ثبت زیورآلات سنتی یزد تشکیل شده است که این دبیرخانه با اهداف زیر فعالیت می‌کند:

- حفظ میراث فرهنگی: با توجه به غنای فرهنگی و تاریخی زیورآلات یزد، ایجاد دبیرخانه به منظور حفظ و نگهداری این میراث ارزشمند ضروری است.
- توسعه گردشگری: ثبت جهانی زیورآلات می‌تواند به جذب گردشگران کمک کند و یزد را به عنوان یک مقصد گردشگری فرهنگی معرفی نماید.
- حمایت از هنرمندان محلی: با تأسیس دبیرخانه، هنرمندان محلی می‌توانند حمایت‌های لازم را دریافت کنند و آثار خود را بهتر معرفی کنند .
- افزایش آگاهی عمومی: ایجاد آگاهی درباره اهمیت هنر زیورآلات و نقش آن در فرهنگ ایرانی
Traditional jewelry of Yazd, with a rich history and inspired by the culture, art and beliefs of the people of this region, is considered one of the prominent manifestations of Iranian handicrafts. This art, which has been passed down from generation to generation by master craftsmen of Yazd, not only expresses the taste and skill of the craftsmen of this land, but also embodies the cultural and historical identity of Yazd.
Considering the artistic, cultural and economic values of this jewelry and the necessity of preserving and promoting it internationally, the Secretariat for Pursuing the Globalization of the Registration of Traditional Jewelry of Yazd has been established, which operates with the following objectives:

هنرمندان زیورآلات و طلای یزدی تلاش کردند تا با توجه به شغل اجداد خود یعنی بافندگی، بسیاری از آن تکنیک ها را در صنعت طلا و ساخت زیورآلات پیاده سازی کنند؛ به همین دلیل، نیازمند طلایی با عیار بالا بوده اند تا بتوانند طرح و نقش ها و تکنیک های ناب خود را در آن پیاده سازی کنند به همین دلیل از طلای با عیار 20 که منحصر به شهر یزد است استفاده کرده اند و از ان پس بود که توانستند تمام تکنیک های بافت را که باز منحصر به شهر یزد بود را در آن پیاده کنند

Jewelry and gold artisans of Yazd have strived to incorporate weaving techniques, inherited from their ancestors, into the craft of jewelry making. As a result, they required high-purity gold to accurately apply their intricate designs and techniques. This led to the use of 20-karat gold, which is unique to Yazd. With this special gold, they successfully integrated exclusive weaving techniques, further distinguishing Yazd’s gold and jewelry craftsmanship.
